U.S. considering new sanctions against Russia: Violations of Minsk agreement continue

The U.S. continues to consider the possibility of introducing new sanctions against Russia in connection with the situation in the Donbas.
This was announced by State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki on Thursday, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.
She stated that the U.S. is obviously considering a number of options, including sanctions. She noted that there was active discussion of this issue in the administration but could not name the time frame for the decisions.
Psaki noted that there has been some improvement in the Donbas in recent days. "There are still violations... I wouldn't go so far as to call it a positive step," Psaki told reporters. "It's just a slight improvement," she said adding that the violations of the Minsk agreement continue.
