Prosecutor General replaced his first deputy
Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin appointed his deputy Volodymyr Huzyr First Deputy Prosecutor General.
The agency's press service stated, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.
Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin appointed Volodymyr Huzyr his first deputy. Earlier this position was held by Oleh Zalisko. He was transferred to the post of the Deputy Prosecutor General. Huzyr was Shokin's deputy prior to the promotion.
It is noted that the appointment was made Thursday, April 2.
Huzyr's career in the prosecution agencies started in 1983. Previously, he held the position of the Prosecutor General 's Office Main Directorate for Monitoring of Criminal Proceedings deputy chief. Zalisko was appointed first deputy prosecutor general Jan. 14.
