Court in Netherlands confirmed that Boeing MH17 was shot down from territory controlled by Russian Federation

The District Court in The Hague established that the passenger plane MH17 was shot down from the territory of the "LDPR", which was subordinate to Russia.

As reported, the passenger Boeing-777 of "Malaysia Airlines", which was performing flight MH17 from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, crashed in the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk region on July 17, 2014. There were 283 passengers and 15 crew members on board the liner, all of them died.

The international investigative team concluded that the plane was shot down from the Buk anti-aircraft missile complex, which belongs to the 53rd anti-aircraft missile brigade of the Russian Armed Forces, stationed in Kursk.

On June 19, 2019, the investigative team named four suspects believed to be involved in the transportation and combat use of the Buk air defense system.
