Belarus "strengthens" border protection with Ukraine by MIA officers
Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs has decided to "strengthen" Belarusian positions on its border with Ukraine with personnel and is preparing Belarusian policemen for border service.
As informs Censor.NЕТ, it was reported by RBK-Ukraine referring to Belarusian TV STV.
Such "innovations" were shared with Belarusian television by the head of the Belarusian Interior Ministry Ivan Kubrakov.
"As for the service of police officers at the border, this is not a new task, we have performed it repeatedly. And today, of course, we have strengthened the border with Ukraine," - the Minister explained the situation, why suddenly Belarusian policemen became border guards.
In the style of self-proclaimed President Alexander Lukashenko, he assured that he knows where to expect "terrorist acts" in Belarus and, threatening anyone who tries to do something, promised: "he will be destroyed".
"We are constantly preparing our personnel for this, today there is nothing new for us, the tasks are clear. If someone tries to commit terrorist acts on the territory of the Republic of Belarus, as I said earlier, when we were conducting exercises, these criminals will be destroyed. There can be no other options. The task for the internal affairs bodies has been set clearly," Kubrakov assured.
