440 children died and more than 847 injured as a result of aggression of Russian Federation in Ukraine

More than 1,287 children were injured in Ukraine during 9 months of full-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation. According to the official information of juvenile prosecutors, as of the morning of November 24, 2022, 440 children died and more than 847 were injured.

This was announced by the Prosecutor General's Office, Censor.NET reports.

It is noted that these numbers are not final, as work is ongoing to establish them in places of active hostilities in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

"Children were most affected in the Donetsk region - 424, Kharkiv - 266, Kyiv - 117, Mykolaiv - 77, Zaporizhzhia - 76, Chernihiv - 68, Kherson - 67, Luhansk - 64, Dnipropetrovsk - 32," the message says.

Thus, on November 23, a minor girl died from a rocket attack by an aggressor country in Kyiv. A 17-year-old girl was injured.

It became known about the death of a 13-year-old boy who was seriously injured the day before in the village of Antonivka, Kherson region, due to an enemy projectile hitting a car.

In addition, on November 23, due to a rocket fire by the enemy in the city of Vyshhorod, Kyiv region, six children aged 5 to 16 were injured.

2,719 educational institutions were damaged due to bombing and shelling by the armed forces of the Russian Federation. 332 of them were utterly destroyed.
