Talks about "Abrams" and "Patriot" from US are moving, but at speed of tank, not airplane, - Kuleba
Ukraine continues to ask the US for "Patriot" air defense systems and "Abrams" tanks.
This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, Censor.NET informs with reference to LIGA.net.
According to the minister, the issue of the supply of American tanks and "Patriot" systems is raised by the Ukrainian side at every international meeting and during every contact with the US - both at the level of President Volodymyr Zelensky, at the level of the head of the President's Office Andrii Yermak, and at the level of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"This conversation is not easy for a number of reasons, but it is moving.
I definitely wish she could move at the speed of a plane, but she moves at the speed of a tank. That's why it takes time," Kuleba said.
He emphasized that Ukraine will continue to resolve issues related to the supply of weapons, and "there are no prohibited topics for us."
"Even if, theoretically, someone asked us not to touch on this or that issue, we would still continue to press and look for solutions," Kuleba added.
