Occupant groups and enemy equipment were destroyed on Kinburn spit last night, - OC "South"
On the Kinburn spit in the Mykolaiv region, the Defense Forces destroyed about 10 Russian invaders and enemy equipment.
Natalia Humeniuk, head of the joint press center of the Southern Defense Forces, said this on the air of a national telethon, Censor.NET informs with reference to Ukrinform.
"We continue combat training in the positions that the enemy takes there from time to time in order to attack the Ochakiv direction. Our work is quite effective and over the past day we have destroyed up to 10 enemy vehicles. This indicates that peace is with them it's not there," Humeniuk said.
At the same time, she added, as long as the invaders have a land access corridor to the Kinburn spit, they can replace forces and inflict damage on the Ochakiv community. This was also the case the previous day, when residential buildings were damaged as a result of shelling in Ochakiv community. As Humenyuk emphasized, the shelling was carried out from multiple rocket launchers, including the use of incendiary ammunition, which is prohibited by the Geneva Convention. In general, the invaders fire on the coastal zone and try to damage the port infrastructure of Ochakiv.
