Ukrainian intelligence analyzes cyberspace to understand the state of affairs in Russia’s defense-industrial complex.

"In today's world, cyberspace is the Klondike of information. We analyze all the information to understand the state of affairs of the defense and industrial complex of the Russian Federation, what are the critical moments for the Russian Federation.
For example, if it is a cruise missile or some high-precision ammunition, then such weapons are manufactured at more than one enterprise. That is, dozens of plants and KB can be involved in the process of production, improvement, and various necessary services. And if we find at least one enterprise in the chain that produces some important part, without which the rocket will not fly and we can make sure that these deliveries do not happen, this will be a real success," he said.
According to Skibitsky, Russia's circumvention of international sanctions is currently one of the enemy's key problems, because the ban on the supply of military and dual-use goods in 2022 has come into effect.
"Also, everything related to high-tech weapons is under sanctions. When we see that the Russian Federation uses a lot of components from the leading countries of the world, it is necessary to take measures to stop the supply of critical components.
Our specialized scientific research institute disassembles all trophy samples to the pin. We know all the secrets of trophy weapons, and there are never any small things here," he explained.
The representative of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine noted that Ukraine shares this information with its partners to block the supply channels of components for the Russian Federation.
"The enemy understands this and is currently trying to carry out import substitution, but we know that it will be extremely difficult for them to achieve real results in this direction, and sometimes even impossible. In general, the enemy is going to simplify the production of weapons. This allows him to report on the amount produced, but in terms of characteristics, it is not the same weapon at all. Therefore, we find a lot of confirmations. Simplification of production concerns primarily high-precision weapons, and as a result, it ceases to be high-precision. If they do not have certain components of Western production, then they simply simplify the control system, navigation system, etc. Yes, it is a powerful rocket, but it does not meet the characteristics that were at the very beginning," he added.
