In Melitopol, during occupation, more than housand people were captured by Russians, - Mayor Fedorov

During the year, more than 1,000 residents of Melitopol were captured by the Russian invaders.
The mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, said this on the air of the national news telethon, Censor.NET reports with reference to Ukrinform.
"For a year and two days, more than 1,000 residents were captured and deported - there are dozens, maybe even hundreds. In recent months, the occupiers have been shooting videos in which they seem to take people to the last checkpoint and deport them, but in fact, after filming the video, they they take people captive and force them to dig trenches or simply abuse them," the mayor said.
He reminded that on February 23 last year, more than 150,000 people lived in Melitopol. Currently, there are no more than 50,000 - 60,000 people left. So almost 100,000 residents had to leave the temporarily occupied city.
In addition, Fedorov noted that the enemy military arranges provocations: they go to houses and scare that the Armed Forces will enter the city and shoot people.
