In Belarus work on organization of mass production of drones
Enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Belarus are working on the organization of mass production of drones.
According to Censor.NET with reference to Belta, the head of the State Military-Industrial Committee Dmitry Pantus reported this after President Oleksandr Lukashenko's meeting on financing the procurement of military products.
Pantus reported that in October 2022 a line of unmanned aerial vehicles, including combat vehicles, was presented at the Lisnovsky landfill. These were samples that were developed and produced in Belarus.
"Today, our work is concentrated on the organization of mass production of these types of drones. And, of course, some models are undergoing some changes and modernized," Pantus said.
According to him, specific types of UAVs, which will be produced in Belarus and will be delivered to the domestic forceful agencies. "In some types (UAV. - Ed.) Work will not be organized taking into account that it is not economically impractical," Pantus added.
