Danilov on situation in Bakhmut: "Extremely difficult, but under control"
Ukrainian troops continue to defend the city of Bakhmut in Donetsk region. The situation there is difficult but controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This was announced by NSDC Secretary Oleksiy Danilov during a telethon, reports Censor.NЕТ with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
"The situation is difficult, but this is our land and we have to defend it. Our defenders are doing everything possible and impossible to stop the enemy from advancing," he emphasized.
Danilov noted that this is the area where the fiercest fighting is taking place and a huge number of Russian soldiers are dying every day.
"The situation is extremely complicated, difficult, but I emphasize once again that the military understand what they have to do. The situation is difficult but under control," he added.
