Germany and its partners gave Ukraine an opportunity to join European Union. Now they are ready to provide post-war security guarantees for Kyiv.
This was stated by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, informs Censor.NЕТ referring to RBK-Ukraine.
"We told (Ukraine - Ed.) that they can apply for EU membership. They are working to make progress on all the criteria that are important for that. I think they know that we are ready to organize some kind of peacetime security guarantee path for the country when it comes, but we are not there yet," he said.
