India decides not to violate Western sanctions against Russia - Bloomberg

индия

India will not violate Western sanctions against Russia, including the $60 price ceiling on Russian oil.

As informs Censor.NЕТ, this is stated by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Bloomberg.

According to the newspaper's sources, government authorities have asked banks and traders to comply with sanctions against Russia. Indian officials have not officially stated that they will support the sanctions and price restrictions imposed on Russia by the G7 countries.

India held detailed discussions with the US and other G7 countries on the sidelines of the G20 meeting, and they are satisfied with New Delhi's actions, one of the sources said.

India and China have become the main buyers of Russian oil since Russia started the war in Ukraine. At the same time, a year before, India hardly bought any Russian oil, and today this market has become one of the key ones for Moscow.
