Since beginning of full-scale invasion, Ukrainian pyrotechnics and explosives experts have inspected more than 100,000 hectares of territory and defused 400,000 enemy shells.
As infrorms Censor.NЕТ, this was emphasized by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his daily video address.
"Since beginning of full-scale war, our pyrotechnics and explosives experts have inspected more than 100 thousand hectares of territory. We managed to neutralize over 400 thousand enemy shells. Over 200 thousand explosive items have already been seized," he noted.
The Head of State also expressed gratitude, in particular, to pyrotechnics Oleksandr Dvoretskyi from Ternopil and Roman Shutyl from Luhansk region, who have been working in Kherson region for almost 6 months in a row.
In addition, he thanked Roman Radavchuk from Kyiv region, who is working in Mykolaiv region, clearing energy facilities, and Vasyl Popovych from Chernivtsi for demining in Donetsk region. Yevhen Zakharov from Kyiv for demining in Kharkiv region.
"I wish a speedy recovery to Yevhen Melnyk, Andriy Makoviychuk, Vitaliy Rudenko, Volodymyr Kliapchuk, Vladyslav Bak... These are pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service who demined the territory of Kherson region and were injured," Zelenskyy said.
At the same time, the President thanked the police explosive experts - Andriy Ilkiv, Taras Sal, who worked in the de-occupied districts of Kyiv and Kharkiv regions, Anatoliy Chechelnytskyi for demining in Mykolaiv region.
He also thanked Ihor Zabolotnyi, Tetiana Kuzubova, Valeriy Onul, Maryna Ostrovska and Viacheslav Yarovyi for demining in Kharkiv, Donetsk, Chernihiv, Kherson and Kyiv regions.
"We are Ukrainians in unity. And the world is united. Glory to all those who are fighting for Ukraine! Those who are fighting in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, those who are defending our south, those who are holding our border. Glory to all those who are preparing the de-occupation of our lands," Zelenskyy summarized.
