Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. In particular, they talked about the situation in Ukraine.

"As it became known, during the telephone conversation, the leaders discussed steps to improve Turkish-Russian relations and developments regarding the Russian-Ukrainian war," the message reads.
In addition, it is noted that the parties also discussed a "grain agreement". During the conversation, Erdogan "thanked Putin for his positive attitude towards the continuation of the Black Sea initiative."
"Erdogan said that Turkey attaches great importance to ending the conflict between Russia and Ukraine through negotiations as soon as possible," Turkish media reported.
