Serhiy Sokalchuk has developed a compact anti-drone gun for short-range operation and is raising funds to increase the number of copies.
As Censor.NET informs, Serhiy Sokolchuk announced this on Facebook.
"Hello, boys and girls. I'm back in action (for a few weeks already). I have something to brag about: during my medical leave I managed to make an anti-drone gun with my own hands (thanks to https://www.facebook.com/antidrone.cc for advice and help).Already tested by competent people who said: "das ist gut!", he wrote.
As Sokalchuk noted, a compact device was created for working at short distances (500-700 m) so that nothing would fly to your head. In its category, it works no worse than serial models of both Ukrainian and foreign production: effectively plants Mavic3, Matrice300, which make up about 90% of what flies.
The main advantage is the price: serial samples have a price tag of $10-12 thousand.
According to the developer, he invested $700. A slightly more powerful anti-drone gun will cost around $1,000.
Sokalchuk appealed to citizens to support the development, because the more copies, the more lives saved.
