Longer taboos regarding weapons for Ukraine remain, more our soldiers give their lives, - Zelensky

President Volodymyr Zelensky called to "remove all taboos" regarding the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
As Censor.NET reports, the head of state said this while speaking in the Parliament of the Netherlands.
"The more powerful the weapon and the longer the fire, the more lives are saved from daily enemy strikes. To value life and maintain defensive taboos between allies who are supposed to protect life is an obvious contradiction.
So the longer weapons taboos persist, the more our soldiers give their lives to pull out the defense when the weapons aren't powerful or long-range enough, and when Russia's fighter jets are more efficient than Europe's defender planes. Now all this, unfortunately, is preserved. Weapons taboo. For a long time? It depends on all of us," he said.
"We remember the leadership of the Netherlands in initiating the delivery of the PzH 2000 - thank you for this bold decision, for the Patriot and other weapons. We remember that the Netherlands was the first to say that the F-16 is not taboo. Your leadership really gives results, so let's provide new ones together!
I believe that during the next visit - I believe that it will take place - I will be able to thank you as much as I do today. I believe that Ukrainians and all Europeans will be able to thank you, in particular, for the approach of peace and for the lives saved. Saved by joint actions, as we have already seen," Zelensky added.
