Turkey refused USA to send Russian S-400 air defense systems to Ukraine, - Cavusoglu
The US asked Turkey to hand over the "S-400" SAM to Ukraine, but Ankara refused.

According to the head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, the United States "presented various proposals" regarding the S-400.
"They have made proposals that directly affect our sovereignty, such as give us control over it, give it somewhere else. Where is our independence and sovereignty?" said Cavusoglu.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the leadership of Turkey refused to send the S-400 complexes to Ukraine at the request of the USA.
"The United States asked if Turkey would send S-400 to Ukraine, and we said no," he added.
