Ukraine still has a long way to go before its victory - Zaluzhnyi

Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi is convinced that Ukraine will win war, but there is still "a very long way to go through".

"I see how it can be done (to win the war against Russia - Ed.), I see what else needs to be done. But I know for sure that there is still a very long way to go to victory. A very long and difficult one," he said in an interview with Dmytro Komarov on Friday, 12 May, Censor.NET reports citing NV.

Zaluzhnyi stressed that Ukraine is holding on thanks to the Ukrainian people who are holding their ground and "creating this victory".

"We will get there and we will definitely win. But again, I want to say that so far, everything rests on the shoulders of these ordinary people," Zaluzhny said, adding that "there is still a lot of work to be done."
