Germany will support Ukraine as long as necessary, - Scholz
Federal Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz confirmed that Germany will support Ukraine as long as necessary.
He stated this at a briefing after a meeting with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Sunday, Censor.NET informs with reference to "Interfax-Ukraine".
"We support Ukraine financially, politically, and in the military sphere. We will continue to support you as long as necessary," he said
"Over a million Ukrainian citizens have found refuge in Germany. We stand in solidarity with the citizens of Ukraine," he said, noting that "close relations between our countries will continue for decades."
Scholz recalled the provision of a new package of military support to Ukraine for 2.7 billion euros, including Leopard-2 tanks, Marder armored personnel carriers, Iris-T systems, and ammunition for them.
Stolz also stated that "we advocate that Russia be brought to justice."
