This spring, allies should provide Ukraine with everything it needs for counteroffensive, Pavel

The later aid arrives, the less useful it will be, so the Allies should provide everything Ukraine needs as soon as possible.
The President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel made such an appeal at the Copenhagen Democracy Summit, Censor.NET reports with reference to Ukrinform.
"Ukraine has a chance to launch a significant counteroffensive in the summer, and the "window" is narrowing. The later the aid arrives, the less useful it will be... In order to use this time window, which is still available, we should provide Ukraine with everything necessary - equipment and ammunition - still in the spring," said Pavel.
He added that the weather conditions in autumn will not contribute to a successful offensive.
Pavel did not emphasize that there is no shortage of military industrial production facilities in Europe. In his opinion, there are opportunities to increase production in Central and Eastern Europe. There is probably a labor shortage, but Ukraine is ready to provide it, Pavel noted, recalling the results of his recent visit to Kyiv. Another problem is the lack of funding, but some states are ready to provide it.
"It's about better coordination: get everything together and start producing very quickly and flexibly," he summarized.
He also reminded that a number of third countries outside Europe have significant stocks of Soviet-style weapons in their warehouses, which, in his opinion, could be transferred to Ukraine.
Previously, Pavel, who, let's recall, is a former NATO general, said that Ukraine has a high chance of a successful counter-offensive.
