Leaders of G7 countries adopted plan to counter Kremlin’s energy blackmail

"We will work together to ensure that attempts to use economic dependency as a weapon to force G7 members and our partners, including small economies, into submission fail and face consequences," the statement said.
The G7 leaders strongly oppose Russia's use of energy and economic dependence.
The Russian Federation has long been accused of using energy as a weapon, as well as manipulating prices and supplies to gain political leverage.
