Ukraine is preparing two cooperation packages for NATO summit - political and practical

In the context of the upcoming NATO summit in Vilnius, Ukraine is preparing political and practical cooperation packages.
This was stated by the Ambassador of Ukraine to NATO Natalia Halibarenko during the briefing, Censor.NET reports with reference to Euro Integration.
According to her, the political package, in particular, is about bringing Ukraine-NATO relations to a new institutional basis.
"And here we are talking about turning, for example, the current Ukraine-NATO Commission into a Ukraine-NATO Council, which will allow us to make some decisions and discuss certain decisions together with the members of the Alliance, and not separately," the diplomat said.
Halibarenko said that the practical package envisages that a multi-year plan will be created specifically for Ukraine, which will help to further bring Ukraine closer to interoperability.
"We are talking about assistance to the Armed Forces, and we are also talking about a large increase in funding of the currently existing comprehensive aid package," she added.
Halibarenko noted that it is about such projects as humanitarian demining, medical rehabilitation and the gradual transition to NATO-standard weapons, which will also involve conducting and continuing exercises and training for the Ukrainian military.
