During the night, the Russians fought chaotically in the old and central parts of Avdiivka.
Vitaliy Barabash, head of the Avdiivka CMA, announced this on the air of the telethon, Censor.NET informs with reference to "Suspilne".
"At around 9:02 p.m., May 27, there was an air missile attack on the city, on the road. "They (the Russian military - ed.) were trying to attack logistics. Three buses of volunteers were leaving, unloading in the city. They returned and, apparently, they were noticed, after which there was an air strike. They finally left," Barabash said.
During the day, 22 mass shellings and about 200 shellings of Ukrainian military positions around Avdiivka were recorded. Six air-missile strikes were also carried out on the city - three on the territory of the Avdiivka Coke Chemical Plant, the rest - on the territory of the city.
People who cannot be reached due to the lack of special equipment remain under the rubble of apartment buildings.
"It is impossible to bring it into the city. Up to 20 km of roads to the city are under fire," the head of the Avdiivka community clarified.
