Russia has reached a stalemate in Bakhmut - WSJ

бахмут

Ten months of assault on city has exhausted Russian army, and it is in a dead end.

This is stated by The Wall Street Journal, informs Censor.NЕТ referring to UNIAN

The publication states that the ten-month assault on Bakhmut has led to the total exhaustion of the occupiers and deprived them of any chance to advance. The WSJ notes that "Russia is at a dead end" and will soon lose the city it has taken by meaty storming.

"Our goal is to tactically encircle Bakhmut," said an unnamed platoon commander of Ukraine's 3rd Assault Brigade, which is leading a counterattack south of the city.

According to the newspaper, while Russia was fighting for control of the last neighborhoods of Bakhmut, Ukrainian forces broke through into Russian territory, creating serious problems for Moscow. Now the invaders need to move troops from the front to their border to secure it.

As a reminder, enemy troops are currently rotating in Bakhmut. Militants from the Wagner PMC are leaving the city and are being replaced by airborne and motorized infantry units.
