Sunak to hold talks with Biden on aid to Ukraine next week, - Reuters (updated)
Next week, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will travel to United States, in particular to discuss aid to Ukraine with President Joe Biden.

Sunak will be in Washington on Wednesday and Thursday of next week to meet with Biden, members of Congress and US business leaders," the statement said.
The British Prime Minister's spokesman added that the leaders will also have the opportunity to discuss various aspects of assistance to Ukraine.
It is noted that Sunak will make his first official visit to Washington since he was appointed prime minister in October. He wants to improve relations with the United States after they were tense over the UK's exit from the European Union in 2020.
Ukrinform writes that the White House also commented on the meeting.
"The leaders will review a number of global issues, including their unwavering support for Ukraine as it defends itself against Russia's brutal aggressive war, as well as further actions to strengthen energy security and address the climate crisis," the White House said in an official statement.
It is also noted that the parties will discuss efforts to further strengthen bilateral economic relations amid common challenges to the economy and national security.
