In Bakhmut, situation is conditionally stable, southwestern outskirts are under control of Defense Forces, - Maliar

In Bakhmut, Donetsk region, the situation is conditionally stable, the southwestern outskirts of the city remain under the control of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
Deputy Defence Minister Hanna Maliar said this on Telegram, Censor.NET reports.
"The enemy continues to focus its main efforts in the east to reach the borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. However, the enemy is unable to advance due to the strong resistance of our defence forces.
The situation is changing slightly, but slightly.
For several months in a row, the enemy has been advancing in the east in four directions - Avdiivka, Mariinka, Lyman and Bakhmut.
Later, it periodically intensified its activity in two more areas - Shakhtarsk and Kupiansk.
During this time, the enemy failed to reach the borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions
The enemy is exhausted and is now replacing troops and regrouping.
The aggressor does not stop shelling and air strikes in all directions.
However, the geography of the offensive is somewhat different.
The enemy did not conduct any offensive actions in three of these areas - Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk - during the day.
However, in the Bakhmut sector, the enemy tried to regain lost ground but failed.
In the other three directions - Kupiansk, Lyman and Mariinka - the enemy is active and conducts rather intense offensive actions, but without success.
The situation in Bakhmut is relatively stable. We control the south-western outskirts of the city. Wagnerians have not left the city completely. They are conducting instructional work with the arriving regular army units.
The enemy is shelling the border areas with Russia and conducting air strikes.
The enemy is on the defensive in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson sectors," said Maliar.
