The four hundred and seventy-eighth day of the Russian Federation’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.

It is noted that the enemy continues to focus its main efforts on the Liman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Mariinka directions - over 30 combat engagements took place over the past day.
The situation in the Volyn and Polissia sectors remained unchanged.
In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy launched air strikes on Yanzhulivka, Halahanivka, and Arkhipivka in the Chernihiv region. It carried out mortar and artillery attacks on the settlements of Karpovychi, Yanzhulivka, Halahanivka in the Chernihiv region; Vintorivka, Seredyna-Buda, Rozhkovychi, Demianivka, Baranivka, Fotovyzh, Budivelne, Bilokopytove, Stukalivka, Iskryskivka, Yastrubyne, Basivka in the Sumy region, as well as Vetarynarne, Alisivka, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Hatyshche, Pletenivka, Bochkove, and Budarky in the Kharkiv region.
According to the General Staff, in the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted an air strike in the areas of Vesele and Berestove in the Kharkiv region. Novomlynsk, Masiutivka, Zakhidne, Lyman Pershy, Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region and Novoselivske in the Luhansk region came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives in the areas of Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region and Vyiimka, Vesele and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region. It carried out an air strike near Rayhorodka and Makiivka in the Luhansk region and Svyato-Pokrovske in the Donetsk region. Artillery shelling was carried out in Stelmakhivka, Nevske, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Yampolivka, Torske, Dibrova, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, and Serebrianka in the Donetsk region.
"In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Orikhovo-Vasylivka over the last day. It carried out air strikes near Bila Hora, Pivnichne and Mayorsk in the Donetsk region. Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Chasiv Yar, Kalynivka, Ivanivske, Ozarianivka, Bila Hora, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Katerynivka, and Pivdenne in the Donetsk region suffered from enemy artillery shelling," the statement said.
In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy carried out air strikes in the area of Avdiivka. It shelled with artillery the areas of Keramik, Orlivka, Avdiivka, Vesele, Semenivka, Vodiane, Severne, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, Yasnobrodivka, Karlivka, Zhelane Pershe, Novokalynove and Nevelske in Donetsk region.
In the Mariupol direction, our defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the areas of Mariinka, Krasnohorivka and Novomykhailivka. The occupiers launched air strikes near Novomykhailivka, Velyka Novosilka, Malynivka, Mala Tokmachka and Blahodatne in the Donetsk region. At the same time, the enemy shelled Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Maksymilianivka, Pobeda, Novomykhailivka and Katerynivka with artillery.
In the Shakhtarske direction, the enemy conducted offensive actions in the areas of Novomykhailivka and Vodiane in the Donetsk region but was unsuccessful. He carried out air strikes in the areas of Blahodatne and Zolota Nyva in the Donetsk region. It shelled Blahodatne, Vuhledar, Bohoiavlenka, Novoukrainka, Zolota Nyva, Shakhterske, Velyka Novosilka and Novy Komar in the Donetsk region.
The enemy continues to conduct defensive actions in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions. It conducted an air strike with guided aerial bombs in the Kozatske area of the Kherson region. It fired artillery at the settlements of Olhivske, Chervone, Zatyshshia, Huliaypole, Zaliznychne, Bilohiria, Novoandriivka, Preobrazhenka, Mali Shcherbaky, Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhya region; Osokorivka, Mykhaylivka, Respublikanets, Beryslav, Vesele, Kozatske, Olhivka, Odradokamianka, Lvove, Tiahynka, Tokarivka, Inzhenerne, Antonivka, Zelenivka, Stepanivka, Chornobaiivka, Kherson, Zymivnyk, Bilozerka and Kizomys in the Kherson region and Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region.
According to the General Staff, over the past day, the aviation of the defence forces carried out 13 strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel. Our defenders also destroyed 20 Iranian "Shahed-131/136" strike UAVs, "Orlan-10" tactical UAVs and 3 more reconnaissance UAVs.
Over the past day, missile and artillery units struck 2 control points, an S-300 air defence system, 4 areas of concentration of enemy personnel and military equipment, 3 ammunition depots and 7 artillery units at firing positions.
