We will continue fight and will definitely say our word in battle, - Azov commander Prokopenko, released from captivity. VIDEO
Andriy Prokopenko, released Azov commander who returned to Ukraine after a long internment in Turkey, said he would return to Defence Forces.
According to Censor.NET, he said this in Lviv.
Prokopenko said: "Once again, I want to sincerely thank Mr President, his team, the Defence Forces and every soldier who defended our Motherland, who continued to fight the occupier at the front while we were in captivity. This is a very big contribution to our independence, to the struggle for our state, for our sovereignty and territorial integrity. I am deeply convinced that the army is a team effort. And starting today, we, together with you, will continue the fight, and we will definitely have our say in battle. The most important thing for today is that the Ukrainian army has seized the strategic initiative on the front line and every day we are moving forward, destroying the enemy, liberating the temporarily occupied territories and I am confident that we will do everything possible and impossible to speed up this process and bring the war to its logical conclusion."
