Ukrainian Defense Forces continue offensive operation at Melitopol and Berdiansk directions - General Staff
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released information about the Defense Forces’ offensive in the south on July 9, 2023.
As informs Censor.NЕТ, this is stated in official Facebook of AFU General Staff.
The statement reads: "On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is focusing its main efforts on preventing further advancement of our troops. It carried out air strikes in the areas of Rivne and Novodanylivka in Zaporizhzhia region and Kozatske in Kherson region. He shelled more than 20 localities, including Temyrivka, Novodarivka, Chervone, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Orikhiv in Zaporizhzhia region; Beryslav, Vesele, Antonivka, Bilozerka in Kherson region and the city of Kherson. At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct offensive operations at the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, consolidate their positions, and carry out counter-battery measures."
