EU supports provision of ammunition to Ukraine for self-defense
The European Union has declared that it supports the supply of ammunition to Ukraine for self-defense against the background of reports that the United States is providing cluster munitions to Kyiv.
As reported by Censor.NET with reference to European Pravda, this was announced by the representative of the EU foreign policy service, Nabila Massrali, at a press briefing in Brussels.
Commenting on the decision of the United States to provide Ukraine with cluster munitions, she said that this was "a matter between the countries supplying the ammunition and Ukraine."
"We are aware of the announcement of the supply of cluster munitions as part of the new US aid package to Ukraine. This is a matter between the countries supplying the ammunition and Ukraine. But in general, we support the provision of ammunition to Ukraine for self-defense," Massraly said.
