"Unprecedented and absurd": Zelensky criticized NATO for negotiations on Ukraine without Ukraine
President Volodymyr Zelensky said that NATO is discussing wording for the summit without Ukraine.
According to Censor.NET, the head of state announced this on Telegram.
"We value our allies. We value our common security. And we always value an open conversation. Ukraine will be represented in Vilnius at the NATO summit. Because this is respect. But Ukraine also deserves respect.
Now, on the way to Vilnius, we have received signals that wording without Ukraine is being discussed. And I want to emphasize that this is wording only for an invitation, not for Ukraine's membership.
It is unprecedented and absurd when there is no timeframe for both the invitation (!) and Ukraine's membership, and when some strange wording is added about "conditions" even for the invitation of Ukraine..." the President stressed.
