Bulgarian Prime Minister Denkov on cluster munitions for Ukraine: Achieving success on battlefield during war is more important than conventions
The Prime Minister of the Bulgarian government, Nikolay Denkov, emphasized that during the war, Ukraine’s successes on the battlefield were more important than the signed conventions. He considers the US decision to send cluster munitions to Ukraine for defense at the front to be correct.

Thus, regarding the US decision to provide Ukraine with cluster munitions as aid in the war against Russia, the Prime Minister of Bulgaria noted that "we are in a state of full-scale war."
"Therefore, when there is a war, conventions are important, but it is even more important to succeed on the battlefield," he emphasized.
Denkov added that decisions on cluster munitions are "politically sensitive," but noted that he did not want to "go deeper into this topic."
