Putin claims Russia did not use Kerch Bridge to move military equipment
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin claims that the Kerch Bridge damaged this morning was not used to move military equipment.
As reports Censor.NЕТ, his words are cited by RBC-Ukraine, referring to Russian propaganda telegram channels.
"What happened is another terrorist act of the Kyiv regime, it is a senseless crime, because the Crimean bridge has not been used for military transportation for a long time," Putin said.
He also said that the Russian Defense Ministry is already preparing a response. Putin confirmed that the bridge had suffered significant damage, and that traffic on the bridge was halted.
He once again instructed the FSB to take measures to improve the bridge's security, as he considers it strategically important.
As a reminder, on July 17, explosions occurred on the Crimean Bridge and a span collapsed. The first photos showing the damage to the Crimean Bridge after the explosions were posted online.
Censor.NET's sources said that the Crimean bridge was attacked by surface drones. This is a special operation of the SBU and the Navy.
The South Command said that the damage to the Crimean bridge could be a provocation by Russia.
