"Shahed" plant in Russia could have significant impact on war, - US intelligence
The construction of a factory in Russia for the production of Iranian kamikaze drones "Shahed" will allow Russia to create a larger stockpile of UAVs and significantly influence the war.

According to CIA analysts, this plant will allow Russia to obtain many times more kamikaze drones than is currently possible through supplies from Iran. It is expected that the plant will be produced in early 2024.
An unnamed representative of the CIA said that it is profitable for Iran to supply Russia with weapons because it demonstrates its capabilities to its followers from around the world.
The US CIA noted that Iran has so far transferred more than 400 Shahed 131, 136, and Mohajer drones to Russia, and this supply is almost completely exhausted.
The US intelligence clarified that Russia can also receive new drones from Iran - Shahed 101 - this version is smaller and lighter than the UAVs that the aggressor country has already received.
"There is a possibility that Iran may start supplying Shahed-101 to Russia. They are more compact and easier to transport," CNN quoted analysts as saying.
