білорусь

On July 26, EU ambassadors agreed on the introduction of restrictive measures against Belarus due to its involvement in Russian aggression against Ukraine.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the Twitter of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU.

"Today, EU ambassadors agreed on the introduction of restrictive measures in view of the situation in Belarus and because of Belarus's involvement in Russian aggression against Ukraine. These measures include sanctions against individuals and legal entities," the message reads.

For his part, Radio Svoboda correspondent Rikard Jozwiak noted: "EU ambassadors have just approved sanctions against Belarus. Mostly aviation and dual-purpose goods. More importantly: no relaxations for potassium. But expect this issue to come up again in the fall."
