US Treasury introduced new sanctions against Russia
The US Treasury announced the introduction of additional sanctions against Russia.

Thus, the Prokhorov Institute of General Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Kazan Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, as well as the Institute of Solid State Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences were on the list of US sanctions.
