The United States calls on China to stop pressuring Taiwan and start a meaningful dialogue.
This is stated in the comment of the spokesperson of the US State Department to Reuters, Censor.NET informs.
"We call on Beijing to end its military, diplomatic and economic pressure on Taiwan and instead start a meaningful dialogue with Taiwan," the statement said.
The foreign ministry added that the United States will continue to closely monitor Chinese military exercises around the island.
