Denmark will provide Ukraine with 19 F-16 aircraft, - Prime Minister Frederiksen

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen announced that the country will transfer 19 F-16 aircraft to the Armed Forces.
As Censor.NET informs, with reference to Interfax-Ukraine, she stated this at a press conference.
"We are announcing today that we will provide 19 F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. Together with the Netherlands, we are the first country that can make a serious, unbreakable commitment to provide fighter jets. And I hope that other countries will follow suit," she said on Sunday in Copenhagen after a meeting with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to her, "we hope and believe that Danish fighter jets will help protect your skies, protect the Ukrainian people and help Ukraine regain the lands that belong to you."
"Mr. Zelensky, please accept this gift as a sign that the Danes support you in your fight for freedom. We are on your side both now and in the future."
