Denmark will provide the first F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine closer to the New Year.
As Censor.NET informs, this was announced by Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen during a press conference with President Zelenskyy.
"Regarding when we plan to deliver the planes (F-16. - Ed.). We are now continuing the screening process, training will also begin soon. I also hope that closer to the New Year, the first group of planes will leave the land of Denmark and head for Ukraine. About 6 of them," she said.
Also, the Prime Minister hopes that next year 8 more planes will also leave Denmark for Ukraine.
"And five more in a year. We will do it as soon as possible. We need all possible technical details. All skills to prepare as best as possible and then we will be ready," added Frederiksen.
