Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will attend the G20 summit in Delhi instead of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

According to reports, Putin told Indian Prime Minister Modi in a telephone conversation that Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov would represent Russia at the meeting on September 9 and 10.
The message stated that Modi "expressed his understanding regarding this decision".
