Musk said that he does not consider himself traitor because of shutdown of Starlink near Crimea

American billionaire Elon Musk said that he does not consider himself a traitor due to the shutdown of the Starlink system in the Crimea region, which disrupted the attack of the Armed Forces on the enemy fleet.
He wrote about this on Twitter, Censor.NET reports.
"I am a citizen of the United States and I only have an American passport. No matter what happens, I will fight for America and die for it. The US Congress did not declare war on Russia. If anyone is a traitor, it is those who call me that," Musk said.
Musk previously denied reports of a shutdown.
Musk's biographer, Isaacson, claimed that Musk wanted to disrupt the attack of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the Russian fleet near Crimea. The American billionaire feared that Russia might use nuclear weapons in response to a successful attack on Ukraine.
At the same time, the head of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov confirmed that the Starlink systems had indeed not worked in the Crimea region for some time, but expressed doubt that it was Musk who ordered them to be turned off.
