The Ukrainian Navy confirmed the damage to the Russian patrol ship "Pavel Derzhavin" near the temporarily occupied Sevastopol.
This was stated on Radio Svoboda by the spokesman for the Armed Forces Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk, Censor.NET reports.
"We can officially confirm that the ship was damaged. ... You can regard it as another hint that it is time for the Russian occupiers to leave our Sevastopol," he said.
The day before, the media and local Telegram channels wrote that the ship could have hit a mine. The AFU clarified this information, but the head of the press centre of the Southern Defence Forces said that "anything is possible". The Russian Ministry of Defence had no information on the matter.
