Soldier stabbed in the Kyiv, attackers wanted, - National Police

A serviceman was attacked in the center of Kyiv, law enforcement officers are looking for the perpetrators.

Censor.NET reports this with reference to the communications department of the Kyiv National Police.

As noted, the victim was hospitalized at the scene with a stab wound to the chest. Criminal proceedings have been initiated on this fact.

"Yesterday, around 10:00 p.m., the duty unit of the Shevchenkiv Police Department received a report from doctors that a serviceman was found with a stab wound on Nazarivska Street. The doctors immediately hospitalized the victim. An investigative and operational team arrived at the scene," the report says.

Law enforcement officers inspected the scene. It was preliminarily established that the man was walking through the territory of the botanical garden, where unknown persons attacked him and inflicted three stab wounds.

In order to solve the crime, criminal investigation officers, investigators, and precinct police officers are involved in the search for the persons involved. Law enforcement officers conduct a complex of operational and search measures, review recordings from street video surveillance cameras, and interview potential witnesses.

Based on this fact, the investigative department of the Shevchenkiv police department has initiated criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 121 - intentional grievous bodily harm of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides up to eight years of imprisonment.
