Ukrainian troops advanced near Bakhmut behind railway line, - ISW

Geo-location footage shows that the Ukrainian armed forces are making progress near Bakhmut and in the west of the Zaporizhzhia region.

This is stated in a report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainska Pravda.

Geo-location footage released on 29 October shows that Ukrainian forces have advanced beyond the railway line south of Andriivka (10 km southwest of Bakhmut).

Ukrainian troops also advanced in the west of the Zaporizhzhia region.

Ukraine's General Staff reported that the troops continued their assault operations south of Bakhmut and continued their offensive in the Melitopol (western Zaporizhzhia region).

A prominent Russian military blogger said that last week Ukrainian forces took control of certain positions in the Zaporizhzhia direction (western Zaporizhzhia region).

A Kremlin-linked Russian military blogger claimed that last week, the occupiers tried to regain lost ground near Klishchiivka and Andriivka and pushed Ukrainian forces back from positions near the Berkhiv reservoir (approximately 2 km northwest of Bakhmut).

Another Kremlin-linked Russian military blogger said that positional fighting was taking place south of Bakhmut.
