Sanctions against Russia should work 100% - Zelensky
President Volodymyr Zelensky stressed that sanctions against Russia must work 100% for the war to end in Ukraine’s victory.
He said this in a joint press conference with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyensayeva in Kyiv, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
"Another thing is the issue of sanctions. And this is the preparation of a new EU sanctions package. We are really counting on it. This includes preventing the circumvention of existing sanctions, in particular, through European companies and the territories of Russia's neighbouring states. Sanctions must work 100% so that this war ends sooner rather than later with a real victory for Ukraine, Ukraine and the whole of Europe, our common European home," Zelensky said.
