President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s address to the citizens of Ukraine at the end of the 621st day of the war with the Russian Federation.

"Everyone should remember what is the most important thing in Ukraine now. The enemy is inadequate. And it has power. And he wants to destroy Ukraine – just as he wanted to.
Everyone should now think about the protection of our state. We need to come together, not to get divided, not to fall apart into disputes or other priorities. The situation now is the same as it was before: if there is no victory, there will be no country. Our victory is possible. It will be if we all focus on it. Not on politics or the pursuit of some personal interest.Not on disputes that will not give anything to the country and defence and our movement forward.
The resource of the state, the resource of the budget, the resource of our attention and emotions, the resource of our efforts – all this is necessary for our victory. I'll say it again. We all see how people demand to direct budget resources not to pavement and street repairs, but to help defense. That's the way it should be. All resources should be directed toward making Ukraine stronger. We all hear what needs to be changed in the defence forces themselves: this applies to many procedures that are not needed, this applies to many difficulties that our soldiers have. Transfer, training, provision. There are a lot of tasks.And all relevant structures should deal with them – without diverting their energy and forces to something else. We all see that now is not the time for broad celebrations or other impertinent things in the rear, which are unacceptable in times of war and even more so when the army, when all our defense forces live with completely different emotions: pain, battles, losses, but also gains - gains for Ukraine. And we all understand that now, in times of war, when there are many challenges, it is absolutely irresponsible - somehow so... frivolously and playfully stovepiping the issue of elections into society.
I expect all relevant structures and authorities to give specific answers regarding the tasks that objectively face our state now. This applies to civilian authorities, the military element of the state, government officials with the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine and other law enforcement agencies. This also applies to the fact that the state needs much more focus on defense – everyone in the state, and especially at the regional level, in the rear cities, which have the appropriate resources to help and support. This also applies to ensuring that such tragedies as with the soldiers of the 128th Brigade never happen again. And the changes that our soldiers and commanders expect, especially the guys who have been mobilized.
And finally, the waves with any things that split politically must stop. We must decide that now is the time of defense, the time of battle, on which the fate of the state and people depends, and not the time of fake news, which only Russia expects from Ukraine. I believe that now is not the time for elections. And if it is necessary to put an end to this or that political dispute and continue to work only in unity, then there are structures in the state that are able to put an end to it and give society all the necessary answers. So that there is no room for conflicts and someone else's game against Ukraine.
My personal attitude and call is, just like on February 24, to take care of our state, its defense, the destruction of the occupier, the freedom of Ukraine, which is now being won in battles for Ukraine," Zelenskyy said.
