China accused the G7 countries of prolonging war in Ukraine

China considers the G7 countries responsible for the ongoing war in Ukraine.
This is stated in the statement of the Chinese embassy in Japan regarding the communiqué of the meeting of the foreign ministers of the G7 countries in Tokyo, Censor.NET reports with reference to Ukrinform.
"Everyone in the world clearly sees that none other than a narrow circle of countries gathered around the G7 is imposing economic sanctions and prolonging the conflict between Russia and Ukraine," the statement reads.
It states that despite China's serious concern, the G7 countries "once again made irresponsible accusations against China on issues related to Taiwan, Hong Kong, human rights and the crisis in Ukraine."
"China will steadfastly defend its territorial sovereignty and interests and resolutely oppose attempts by other countries to restrain China... or interfere in its internal affairs," the statement stressed.
The Chinese embassy in Japan reported that it had expressed strong protest and stern remarks to Japan as the organizer of the G7 ministerial meeting.
