Ukrainian consuls meet with Polish protesters blocking border crossing points

Ukrainian consuls visited the checkpoints "Rava-Ruska-Grebenne" and "Dorogusk-Yagodin", which are blocked by Polish carriers
This was announced by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland Vasyl Zvarych, Censor.NET informs.
"During the visits, meetings were held with representatives of the local police, Ukrainian carriers, as well as Polish protesters. The consuls called on the Polish side to unblock the movement of freight transport as soon as possible and provide everything necessary for Ukrainian drivers who are forced to wait in queues for many kilometers," the ambassador said.
"Unfortunately, as of today, the Polish protesters have rejected the work of the delegations of Ukraine, Poland and the European Commission to improve the movement of freight traffic across the Ukrainian-Polish state border, which is also the border between Ukraine and the EU," he added.
According to Zvarych, the protesters continue to demand the renewal of permits for international commercial freight transport between Ukraine and Poland, "which contradicts the bilateral agreement between Ukraine and the EU, which is legally binding for Ukraine and all EU member states."
