All cargoes except military and humanitarian are blocked on border with Poland, 20 drivers have already filled out a questionnaire for evacuation - Ministry of Infrastructure
Military and humanitarian goods are allowed to pass at the blocked checkpoints on the Polish border, such a condition was in the permission for the strike of carriers.
This was stated by Deputy Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine Serhii Derkach, Censor.NET reports with reference to Ukrainska Pravda.
"All cargo, except military and humanitarian, has been blocked. But if military aid is allowed through, there is another problem: empty trucks are not allowed to leave, including those carrying humanitarian and military cargo.
And they do not allow dangerous goods to pass through, such as fuel and gasoline trucks. Under these conditions, permission to strike was granted to these carriers. But we see many cases when humanitarian goods are not allowed to pass, dangerous goods are not allowed to pass at all, they stand in a general queue," he said.
According to him, an average of one car per hour is allowed to pass at the border.
At the same time, there are already 20 drivers who have filled out a questionnaire for evacuation. They will be taken by buses to Ukraine and then returned to their vehicles.
Derkach also said that among the carriers blocking Ukrainian trucks are those who want to enter Ukrainian market after the ban on working in Russian and Belarusian.
"As they said at one of the meetings, they are carriers who live near the border and all the time they worked for the markets of Belarus and Russia," he said.
